Sneak Peak atJennifer's Bridals

What a great time we had shooting bridals for Jennifer out at Entrada! She is so photogenic and fun; Sam and I just had a lovely few hours with her and her mom, Michelle, and sister-in-law Erica. Gotta give them credit for some of the amazing pictures we got today! Thanks so much you guys for an amazing afternoon of fun! Here are a couple shots to get your mouths watering...

Re-run!

Arty & Andrea, you guys and your adorable family are a model for all of us to follow; righteous, fun, adventurous, loud, loving, and lovely you're a great example of how life should be lived! Love you guys!
Hey hey, after six kids they still got it!

Abstract Study

I used to think that abstract art had no apparent beauty or attractiveness to it - i mean, what was the point? I never would have tried anything akin to it ever in my life had I not been forced into it by a good photography teacher and this is what I came up with. I'm learning!

Who needs pants?

Anyone who knows this kid will see Andrea's feat as not only amazing, but next to impossible. As loveable as he is, Isaac is just plain crazy!

St. George Marathon - Great Job Andrea!

Andrea, we're so proud of you for the amazing job you did in the Marathon last weekend! What a great accomplishment! To have given birth to 6 little munchkins and then get yourself into that amazing o' shape to do what most of us wouldn't even dream of - just blows me away! We all stand in awe :)

Ode to Knollwood + No Landscapers

We love where we live. It's such a nice place, and so so so much better than where we used to camp out, but lately, for some reason, there have been no landscapers! It's been somewhere in the neighborhood of three weeks since the lawns were mown! I've been tempted to offer to do it myself, and probably would have if I weren't so busy with work, school, and more work! I'm grateful to be busy, and, landscaped or not, I'm very grateful for a place to call HOME.

You'll have to pardon my obsession with this little lady; it's just that she's so darling. The funny thing is, I've noticed that I tend to be my worst critic. I took these photos close to a year ago and, other than giving them to Shay's parents, I've never even looked at them again because I thought I did a terrible job. But hey, looking at them now, I'd have to say they don't look half bad!

Enjoy.

Shay

I wish every little one could be easy to snap great photos of as this little doll! But then life would be way too easy...

Shay Shay!

Shay, by now, you've got to be about twice this size! Sorry it took so long to get this great glamor shot up here for all the world to see. You're a gem!

Beautiful Sister

This is my most beautiful little sister (ok, she's my only little sister) and I'm very grateful to have her in my life. She truly is a joy to all around her.

Zak and Kirt

Thanks so much, Zak and Kirt, for the opportunity to shoot your wedding, and share that special day with you. It was an honor and a pleasure to be there.

It's days like this that I know I'm in the right business because each time we shoot a wedding, Sam and I inevitably get transported back in time to our own blissful day, the happiest of our lives up to that point.

Zak and Kirt had an amazing setup; from the beauty of the location, to the simple elegance of their decorations and other arrangements, those who brought it all together took part in creating a piece of heaven on earth.

Here are a few of the shots, thrown together with Google's amazing Picasa 3 (I put them in collages to spare you having to scroll five miles down the page to see them all)

Check 'em out :)
